​Our Strength Comes From Our Unity 

The systems that control healthcare, education, housing, etc., are powerful. One congregation's Justice ministry could never effectively challenge these systems by itself. However, when our congregations work to do Justice together, we are powerful enough to create real systemic change. There are plenty of doctrinal or political issues that divide us, but issues of Justice unite us. We ALL agree no one should have to live on the street. We ALL agree that our children should be reading on grade level. We ALL agree that our senior citizens should be treated with care and respect. ​

​Our Strength Comes From Our Numbers

Our Justice ministries realize that there are basically two kinds of power in the world: money power and people power. We understand our inability to compete with powerful systems when it comes to their money power. What we do have is each other. F.A.I.T.H. member congregations share the same conclusion:  if we come together 52 times a year to worship, then surely we can come together just once a year to fulfill our religious calling “to do justice”. We call this vision 52/1. Our member congregations work every year towards turning out their average worship attendance to our Action Assembly.
